Dr. Gaurav Narula

Dr. (Surg Cdr) Gaurav Narula is Professor in Pediatric Oncology & Health Sciences, and Past- Convener of the Pediatric Hemato-lymphoid Group (PHLG) at TMC, Mumbai. He previously served in the Indian Navy for 25 years till 2012 and was Prof and Classified Specialist Pediatrics & Hematology at INHS Asvini, Mumbai.

The PHLG manages more than 1000 newly diagnosed children with Leukemia/ Lymphoma/ LCH a year. His research is focussed on improving their outcomes with innovative approaches including low-cost alternatives, improving supportive care, using innovative technology like CAR T-cells developed indigenously at IIT-B, and developing a cellular therapy centre at TMC. He is also Ed-in-Chief Pediatric Hematology Oncology Journal and a Founder-Treasurer of Immuno-Oncology Society of India.
